Welcome to the very first post of The Daily Cooper.  It is my hope that you will find this blog interesting and thought provoking.  Here I will post regular comments, views and opinions of serious interest to me and hopefully our readers.  What motivates me is my strong urge to write, to share and to interact with those interested in the subjects I choose through this blog.  I have strong feelings and opinions about many issues whether they be political, governmental, economic, financial and business, or even entertainment and sports.  Sometimes all of these actually blur with each other and come together.  The common thread is simply I feel the need to write and share my thoughts.

Since is the first post, let me just share with you a bit about me so that you can gain a frame of reference and some initial insight as to who I am.

I am President & CEO of Optimum7 an internet marketing company.  Feel free to visit and / or go the Optimum7 Blog so that you can learn all about the company, its history and what we do.  We are members of SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professionals) as well.

I am also President of ACTEL, a public telecommunications company provided pre-paid public telecommunications services and consulting to similar companies in the this industry.  There is no website for ACTEL as it just isn’t appropriate for the type of business it is.  I am also President of the New Jersey Payphone Association (NJPA) and Member of American Public Communications Council.

My professional history can be summarized as 30+ years of successful business experience initially in sales and later sales management / executive in the clinical laboratory equipment industry and later in managed health care.  I also have significant sales and distribution experience in the computer graphic equipment industry including high-end digital film and print technologies.

Most importantly, for the past 22 years I have been independent, working for myself as a business owner and entrepreneur of sorts.  This was motivated by an extreme disdain for internal office / corporate politics particularly as it relates to decision making and generating great business results.  Corporate politics and great business decision making just do not mix and therefore I made the decision to break with this mess and chart an independent course for myself.  Clearly it was the most fundamentally significant decision I have made in my business and professional life.

Well, enough about me … so what do you think of my hair? … Just kidding.

So, here we go … I seek to share and voice my opinions and experiences with you, my readers.  Please feel free to bookmark, RSS this blog and / or follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Linked In.
